By accessing or using AltTrack.com (“AltTrack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use AltTrack. These terms apply to all users of the service.
AltTrack is a personal portfolio tracking tool designed for individual investors to track and analyze their alternative investments. AltTrack is a tracking and organizational tool only — it does not provide investment advice, financial planning services, tax advice, or legal advice. Nothing on AltTrack constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any investment.
AltTrack is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using AltTrack, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. AltTrack is designed for individual investors tracking private alternative investments. Use of the service does not require any particular investor status or qualification.
To use AltTrack, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
AltTrack offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier allows tracking of up to 3 investments. Pro subscription features and pricing are described on our Pricing page.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time — your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
You retain full ownership of all investment data you enter into AltTrack (“Your Data”). By using AltTrack, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service for you, and to comply with applicable law.
We do not sell Your Data, and we do not use personally identifiable data for advertising. Investment data submitted to the AI insights feature is processed as described in Section 8 and our Privacy Policy and is not used to train AI models. We may create and use anonymized, aggregated data that does not identify you or reveal your individual holdings in order to operate, analyze, and improve the service.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. AltTrack computes metrics and calculations based on the data you provide — the accuracy of all metrics depends entirely on the accuracy of your input data.
AltTrack and all of its contents and components — including the software, source code, databases, functionality, design, user interface, page layouts, text, graphics, and the overall “look and feel” of the service, together with all enhancements, modifications, and derivative works, whether developed by us or based on your feedback (collectively, the “Content”) — are and will remain the exclusive property of AltTrack and its licensors. The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws in the United States and other countries.
The AltTrack name, the AltTrack logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of AltTrack. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use AltTrack for your own personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose, tied to your account. This is a right to use the service — it does not transfer any ownership interest in AltTrack or the Content to you.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law, you may not:
If you send us any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations about AltTrack (“Feedback”), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that Feedback into our service for any purpose, without any obligation to compensate or credit you. We are free to use Feedback but are not required to.
All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by AltTrack and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any right, title, or interest in or to AltTrack or the Content other than the limited license expressly set out above.
AltTrack uses artificial intelligence to generate portfolio insights based on the investment data you enter. By using the AI insights feature, you acknowledge and agree that:
As between you and AltTrack, you retain ownership of the investment data you submit, and any insights generated specifically for you from your data are provided for your own use. Because AI-generated output may not qualify for intellectual property protection, we make no representation that such insights are unique to you.

ALTTRACK IS A PORTFOLIO TRACKING TOOL ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE INVESTMENT ADVICE, FINANCIAL ADVICE, TAX ADVICE, OR LEGAL ADVICE.
All metrics, calculations, and analytics provided by AltTrack (including XIRR, yield, NAV, DPI, TVPI, and all other metrics) are for informational and organizational purposes only. They are based solely on the data you enter and should not be relied upon for investment decisions. Always consult with qualified financial, tax, and legal advisors before making investment decisions.
ALTTRACK IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that: (a) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) the results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable; (c) any errors in the service will be corrected.
All metrics, calculations, and analytics are computed from data you provide and are subject to the accuracy of your input. AltTrack makes no representations about the accuracy of XIRR, NAV, DPI, TVPI, yield, or any other metric computed by the service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALTTRACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AltTrack and its operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of AltTrack; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) the data you submit to the service. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of that claim.
AltTrack reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We may add or remove features, change functionality, or discontinue the service entirely. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable advance notice.
You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use AltTrack ceases immediately and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of AltTrack that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Your continued use of AltTrack after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
